Well this little post hits it on the head for the mighty tin pot shyte club called Leeds Utd.
Phill Hay just twittered about a Chinese consortium that bought 13% of Man City for £265 million................ the Club is apparently valued at 3.3 billion...........FACE FACTS YOU MIGHTY SHYTES. NO ONE WANTS YOU. AND IF THEY DID, THEY'RE ALL POOR HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. NO SOUND MINDED MILLIONAIRES WOULD INVEST IN YOU SHYTE CLUB. 10 YEARS AND YOU STILL THINK YOU'RE BIG??????. MAN CITY, A SMALL CLUB 10 YEARS AGO IS NOW WORTH 3 BILLION, HOW MUCH ARE YOU TIN POT SHYTE CLUB WORTH?????. NOT MUCH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. MDT!!!!!!!!
Such a sum could buy leeds many times over and with it being a 1 club city and one of the largest fan bases in the UK (allbeit decreasing rapidly as elderly fans pass away and are not replaced)
Yet we remain in the hands of tin pot pariahs .........why is that ?
Money attracts money ?
Buyers and investors look for stable ownership and we have Mr Fraud 2015 running the club.....??
Or is that Cellino still thinks he can get his hands on more Wonga if hangs about for a bit ?? Certainly he may get a nice pay day with the departure of our kids looming....
Its just incredible when you think about it..........I know we are bias but I honestly think an investment of 100 to 200 million on Leeds now would return you three times that once we were firmly placed in the top flight...........instead we are stuck with GFH who are doing a Bates hoping for a "Matthew Harding" to appear so they can go a long for the ride to easy ££££££. They dont get that for a club to succeed it needs real up front investment, even more so if its a stagnated behemoth like Leeds United
We also have the petulant irrational Celino who thought he could throw a couple of mill about and get to the £££ land on the cheap.
For me the only viable alternative is a fan lead buyout with multiple millionaires on board. As Thwaites said, there were multiple money men waiting in the wings willing to invest into the next Giant if only it had stability and accessability
